How is Permanent Eyeliner Applied?
At the beginning of the appointment, our aesthetician works with you to find the right application for your needs. This includes choosing a color, application line and width of the micropigmentation. Traditional eyeliner is used to help you visualize the results. The skin is cleansed to get rid of makeup, skincare products and impurities. Our aesthetician applies a topical cream to numb the area and uses a hand-held instrument to deposit the pigmentation granules into the skin.
What Should I Expect After My Permanent Eyeliner Treatment?
An ointment is applied to the skin to help the skin heal. You may notice that the area feels sensitive, and you may have some minor discomfort. Initial healing takes only a day or two. We recommend that you wear sunglasses until the skin heals completely to preserve the integrity of the pigment color. Our aesthetician schedules a follow-up appointment to evaluate how the skin is healing and determine if any touch ups are needed. Initially, the pigment may look darker than what you expected. It will fade slightly over the first year.
