At Davis Facial Plastic Surgery, our skilled, compassionate staff wants you to have a positive experience, even if your surgery, treatment, or procedure leaves you feeling out of sorts. We provide pleasant, comfortable and attentive care to each of our patients in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and surrounding areas.

Surgical Plan

To make your plan crystal clear, Dr. Davis uses computer imaging during your in-person consultation. This allows him to study your facial features, show realistic refinements, and align the surgical plan with your goals.

What Happens During Your Consultation

  1. High-quality photographs are taken from multiple angles.
  2. Dr. Davis performs a hands-on nasal exam (external and internal) to assess structure, skin, airway, and symmetry.
  3. Using professional imaging software, he creates simulated views that illustrate likely changes and proportions that fit your face.
  4. You’ll review options together, discuss trade-offs, and finalize a plan tailored to your anatomy.
  5. You’ll meet several members of our team who guide you through what to expect during each stage of your transformation.

Why We Use Imaging

  • Clarity: Visualizes goals so we’re on the same page.
  • Precision: Helps refine details like tip rotation, projection, bridge contour, and symmetry.
  • Safety & Function: Planning considers both form and breathing.
  • Personalization: Adjusts to your skin thickness, cartilage strength, and overall facial balance.

What to Expect

  • The images are guides, not guarantees. Your anatomy and healing determine the final result.
  • Dr. Davis will explain what is achievable safely and what should be avoided.
  • You’ll receive clear pre- and postoperative instructions that support the plan we create together.

Limits & Transparency

  • Simulation ≠ Outcome: Imaging shows possibilities; it cannot predict healing.
  • Honest Boundaries: If a requested change isn’t safe or realistic, we’ll explain why and offer alternatives.
  • Breathing Matters: Functional concerns (septum, valves, turbinates) are part of the plan when needed.

Preparing for Your Visit

  • You’re encouraged to arrive wearing your regular makeup; please pull your hair back.
  • You’ve waited weeks (or months!) to see us; relax, you’re in compassionate, experienced hands.
  • Communicating openly about what bothers you about your appearance helps ensure our team can thoroughly educate you about your aesthetic options.

After the Consult

  • You’ll leave with a custom surgical plan based on your exam and imaging.
  • Our team will review timelines, the required two-week stay in Tampa, and your follow-up schedule.
  • We’re available for questions as you finalize travel and lodging.

Note: Imaging is performed only after Dr. Davis completes an in-person exam. This ensures the simulation reflects your anatomy and supports a safe, predictable plan.

Top-Notch Postoperative Care at Davis Facial Plastic Surgery

The majority of plastic surgeries require a recovery time of at least 2 days of limited movement and lifting, requiring extra help and support around the house. It is critical that you adhere to Dr. Davis’ recovery plan in order to keep scarring to a minimum. Most patients prefer to spend their downtime in complete privacy, thereby making errands and outings out of the question without the assistance of a caregiver. We will respect your privacy after your cosmetic procedure while ensuring you receive rest to recover and recuperate properly.

If you don’t have family in the area to provide transportation to an appointment or in-home care, Davis Facial Plastic Surgery can help arrange assistance from several local agencies.

These services include:

  • Accompany you back to the procedure
  • Wait for you at Davis Facial Plastic Surgery
  • Accompany you back to your home
  • Help you settle comfortably at home
  • Prepare a meal for you (if you so desire)
  • Monitor your status

Please contact us if you would like to take part in our pre- and post-operative services. Your health and wellness before, during and after your procedure is our number one focus, and proper care is paramount to ensuring the best outcomes.
